A CPVC end plug is a type of pipe fitting used to seal the end of a CPVC (Chlorinated Polyvinyl Chloride) pipe. It’s commonly used in plumbing systems when a pipe line needs to be closed off, either temporarily or permanently.

• Material: Made from CPVC, which is heat- and corrosion-resistant—ideal for hot and cold water systems.

• Design: Typically a solid fitting with one open end (socket or male threaded) that fits into or over the pipe.

• Sizes: Available in standard pipe sizes (e.g., ½", ¾", 1", etc.).

• Connection Type:

  • Socket end plug – fits inside a CPVC socket and is solvent-cemented.

  • Threaded end plug – screws into a female-threaded fitting; usually removable.

• Capping off a pipe for future system expansion.

• Isolating a section of the system during testing or repair.

• Temporarily sealing unused outlets.
